My Spirit Animal Is A Turtle And Other Fun Facts

The other day I was busy. I was behind on tasks after the weekend and had a whole list of “to do’s” that I needed to get done immediately. On top of that, my daughter had a doctor’s appointment and my afternoon time would be monopolized by my kids’ schedules. Dance practice, track meet, having to feed the family, etc. The time I had for getting it all done was limited.

I was huffing and puffing as I finally reached my computer for a few hours of uninterrupted work time. But, instead of getting right to work I read through my texts. A friend had sent a text with a link to take a quiz in order to determine my spirit animal.

Instead of ignoring it until the evening when I had more time, I was like let me just learn about my spirit animal real quick and thirty minutes later learned that it was a turtle. I spent the next thirty minutes deep down in the rabbit hole of what that means exactly, and how I can use this knowledge to get my life together and become the best version of myself.
